Transpacific Research Notes

In the TRANSPACIFIC Resaerch notes, we introduce our sources, basic research results, articles scrutinizing exchange relations and interactions across the larger Pacific Ocean world, or parts of it, as well as other crucial texts, maps, manuscripts and archaeological relics related to research on the early modern (16th to 19th centuries) Pacific world. We also welcome contributions focused on specific events and areas of this maritime space and its adjacent regions.

Coordinator of our TRANSPACIFIC Research Notes are Wim De Winter and Guillermo Ruiz-Stovel.

See the link to the interactive online resource for The Case of Agustín Sánchez below. You can also download the full working paper and delve into the two podcasts on the life and times of this sixteenth-century galleon surgeon.
